Green Tea Soft-Serve/Shake Recipe

This flavor is good for green tea lovers everywhere; it has a refreshingly light and green taste that I love. And it's full of all the great, beneficial antioxidants of green tea. Use your favorite brand. You can use this same recipe to use other tea flavors as well--just pick any kind you want! (But with certain other flavors, you might want to skip the spinach or use some other kind of add-in.)

Ingredients:
  • one frozen banana
  • 2 tablespoons to 3/4 cup non-dairy milk
  • 3 to 4 teabags green tea of choice
  • handful of frozen spinach
  • few drops lemon juice and/or tiny dash of lemon zest (optional)
Directions:
Before you put the milk in the freezer to chill, put the teabags in the milk to flavor it, stirring and squeezing them a little. Leave the milk out for awhile to brew--at least half an hour, and longer for more flavor (I like it so that the milk turns a nice, good shade of green)--before squeezing out the teabags and transfering to the freezer (if you want, to extract even more flavor, just leave the teabags in the milk until it's ready to use; although in the freezer they don't brew very much). Follow the regular instructions (see Basic Soft-Serve/Shake Recipe if you haven't already); BLEND THAT DELICIOUSNESS! and enjoy your creamy frozen treat. ;-)
